Fucking Five Hundred (My 500th Post)
I wrote my first post over eight years ago. I was in Scotland at the time. Things were not looking too good in my life, and they weren’t looking particularly good on A-F-F either. I had some time on my hands and was exploring this site when I came across the blogs. I’ve re-read my first post. At first glance it seemed like I was really putting a positive spin on things, then I realised what it was. It was really a memo to self, and the advice I was unconsciously giving to myself made a lot of sense.
I’ve come and gone from this site a few times and with that has come big gaps in my blog. That’s the way it happens – life goes on. It seems to me that whenever I return to it I understand how it all works a little better, but all the time Blogland is the place where I feel the most comfortable. There’s an interaction here and quite a nice and generally relaxed community. I think because so many males shy away from reading and writing a process of selection weeds out maybe as many as ninety percent of them leaving a much more even gender balance with men who are more articulate, which must make a refreshing change for women here in Blogland from the content of their email inboxes. It’s also a way of presenting who we are in a much more three dimensional way.
So what about celebrating my five hundredth post?
First I looked at my previous “centenaries:”
100 – Warm Century aka My 100th Post
200 – My 200th Post
300 – Post Number 300
400 – Good Gracious He Thundered Warm's Got to 400
I’d done the list, the poem, the celebratory Woohoo page. I needed something new, something different, and somehow in-keeping with the mild to moderately debauched spirit of this site.
Then I found something truly amazing!
500 Person Sex!!!!!
This is a 130 minute Japanese porn movie directed by Yukitsugu Tsuchiya and released in 2006 by the Soft On Demand group of media companies, aka SOD (appropriately!). It was also called A Milestone in History! SOD is known for its sometimes outrageous and creative products.
This movie features 500 people having sex in the same room and has been hyped as the "Biggest<b> group sex </font></b>orgy video."
However, despite the "orgy" label, the 250 couples featured in the video have sex only with each other and not with any other couple. The couples, who are described by SOD as students, enter a large studio and spend the next two hours in a variety of sexual acts including foreplay, mutual masturbation, oral sex and intercourse. The unique aspect of the production is that each couple performs all the sex acts in a choreographed manner in sync with all the other couples. The epic quality has been compared to the CGI scenes from Lord of The Rings and March of the Penguins.
I haven't come to a conclusion in my own mind as to how sexy the movie is, and although it’s viewable online I can’t imagine watching the whole two hours plus but I’m totally in awe at the sheer organisational achievement - how 500 people can be choreographed from one sex act to the next in an Olympic Opening Ceremony way. More Busby Berkeley writ large than Cecil B de Mille. And there is a surreal, almost comedic quality in 250 couples, fingering, sucking, sixty nining, doggying and so on. I kind of wonder what the Monty Python team would have done if they were directing.
I guess it could only be done in Japan. China is still far too morally strict, as far as I can see, and I think Western Europeans and North Americans would be far too anarchic, with just five hundred writhing swingers doing their own thing.
Follow orders? Fuck off! We’re far too busy doing our own stuff at the moment! Maybe in a couple of hours, if we're not too knackered, that is!

tho i am pleased that you have been around for 500 posts, and i have followed you for most of that time, still...it's not about how many, it's about the fact that you are here, are still around, and it would be a poorer place if you were not, so there

Congratulations....I went and read the posts linked....and saw comments from people I have known in Blogland who no longer post....you are a popular man here.....with good reason. Here's hoping there are 500 more.
