Hmmm...just not comment worthy I guess...
My last couple of blogs have not elicited one single comment...hmmm? I suppose I haven't said anything worthy of comments?? Lots of<b> stalker </font></b>readers...lol, but no comments from them.

I wonder at times what it takes to get comments. Myself I read others' blogs and comment when something touches me, or causes me to reply. I comment alot. I guess that means I am free with my comments. Lol. But I wonder what it is that triggers the comment response in others.

Sometimes I will blog something I figure is controversial and will engender lots of comments and other times I will just talk about something mundane. It seems however that most often I get the comments form the mundane ones instead of the controversial ones. That puzzles me??



Makes me scratch my head and wonder what is truly comment worthy. I love comments (don't we all??). But they elude me like many others...sigh.

I suspect there is a formula...but I have tried some suggestions...asking questions, saying something outlandish, and being obtuse...but often it is when I just ramble on that the comments flow...wierd??

In any event...as I told a fellow blogger today...I don't really blog for comments...I blog because I want to say something...if no one cares or choses to respond then that's really not my problem. I would just like to be read...and that does seem to happen...

 Sometimes when I'm reading a blog post it makes me grin or brings to mind something and I just need to say something.

Sometimes I'm reading blogs when I'm tired or just not at my happiest... then I tend to comment on nothing, no matter the subject.

I guess I go in spurts - because I was really into blogging/commenting before and I'm just not so much at the moment.

 I read for light fun at night. Usually if a blog post is long or deep in thought I scan quickly,but thats just me.

That's why I comment .. sometimes there is nothing to add .. so great post seems lame to me somehow.
