5...used to be my favorite number, the number of my favorite baseball player (Brooks Robinson), the number I always wanted to wear. Then, I learned of the number three and all its magical properties. Okay, not magical properties, but mathematical properties. Add all the digits in a number together and if that sum is divisible by three, so is the whole number. Example: 3579 - 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 = 24, which is divisible by three, so 3579 is divisible by three (3579/3 = 1193). Another example: 1486 - 1 + 4 + 8 + 6 = 19, which is not divisible by three, so 1486 is not divisible by three (1486/3 = 495 and a third)

Isn't that cool?

Hmmm, should have saved the three essay for the Three entry. I'm sure I'll think of something, though.
