Have You Ever Let Your Mind Run Free?...(remix)
Have you ever let your mind run free
to see the sights there are to see?

Painted turtles ..out basking on logs,
surrounded by tadpoles and polliwogs.

Emerald dragonflies skirting all around,
passing closely by with a buzzing sound.

A glistening water snake glides so silently by,
effortlessly zigzagging across the reflected sky.

Over by where the brook begins to meander,
scurries away a brightly colored salamander.

The bullfrog is bellowing his love sick cry,
Grrribbit..Grrrribit.. he waits, but no reply.

The sun blushes warmly when it sees its own reflection
tangerine reds smile soft goodbyes into each direction.

These sights can be visited without leaving your chair,
close your eyes.. breath deeply.. they are right there!

 ah, my friend has there ever been a time when i have chained my mind lol I know some wish I would reel that bad boy in for other's could catch up.

 The tangerine sunset is casting it's reflection,
red,orange and yellow, running in every direction.

I adore sunsets, so make a point of watching them. And yes, I make time to enjoy my surroundings, and wander into the nature! Best thing I learned to do with my time!

Temptress..and they suggest counting them to aide sleeping? I'm guessing THAT advise didn't come from one caught in a flock going to work. It still sounds better then being caught up in a city traffic jam, with horns blowing- red faces & fists waved in the air. Hard to be stressed when it's so dammmmed funny... well should say it was funny to read & I wasn't late for work &

 i luv the cottage life ,live 24\7.yes my mind watches the creatures and nature every chance i get.so amazing and peacefull,listening at night to the crickets and frogs among some sneaky critters to awaking of birds sunshine and a whole new beginning of day.smile and enjoy life as much as they do.

 .. the remix was added because I'd 1st written my original in '75 -'76. I ran across it and a few years back and gifted it and all rights to a baby girl that had been beaten severely . I'd gifted through a former friend here that went by TheSilverDawning and have since learned she's not to be trusted, so I'm not quite sure of any legal status of those poems. I feel since they were created by me I am allowed to remix and share with friends here. Thanks for stopping by You've showed me very nice mind visuals with your blogs, rainqueen, so your comments are an extra honor. I love taking sunrise and sunset pictures, God's paintings make them very hard to get wrong. Be Safe & Be Well, Mike
