 i am glad you posted this and that i am not the only one who feels like a kid when it comes to relationships...
i sometimes wonder if a guy just naturally takes a gal for granted when he has her...
i am in no fit state to entertain the idea of a romantic relationship so i will not speak to your situation but as kitty advised, you are the most important person in your life, be true to yourself and the "best" man will be there when the time is right.

 just stay true to yourself and focus on what you need for you and let everything else fall into place on its own. i treat guys like crap when i like them and they like the challenge of it. treat him like he treats you... flirt be merry with everyone and act like you don't like him to reel him in... he'll wonder what happened and come running.
