Someone on the twitter is claiming that Cinco De Mayo is on a Tuesday this year and getting people all riled up about Taco Tuesday + Cinco De Mayo . But this is FALSE !!!

What should the punishment be for people who LIE on the internet - our most sacred bastion of truth ?

In 2015 Cinco De Mayo was on a Tuesday and it was glorious , it won't happen again until 2021 .

Tuesday or Tīw's Day is the sacred day of Tiw , the god of single combat , victory and heroic glory . I've always wondered why our days of the week are named for Norse gods and no one seems to know .

Many cultures consider Tuesday to be unlucky . The color associated with Tuesday is pink .

The origins of the taco are not precisely known and etymologies for the culinary usage of the word are theoretical . The taco predates the arrival of Europeans in Mexico . If one accepts the theory that the culinary word "taco" derives from its non-culinary usage in Continental Spanish as opposed to indigenous etymological theories it is not clear why the Spanish would have used a word in their own language to describe this indigenous food .

Could Tiw create a taco so grand even he could not defeat it in single combat ?

 I'm thinking that twitter brain probably doesn't know what Cinco de Mayo actually means. It means that this year - and one week later, my birthday - will be on a Friday!! Yay!!!
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!
