Words

Sticks and stones
are hard on bones.
Aimed with angry art
words can sting like anything
but silence
breaks the heart.

-Sara Teasdale (if I remember correctly from HS)

One of the few poems I remember from way back when.

Western wind, when wilt thou blow
That the small rain down can rain?
Christ, that my love were in my arms
And I in my bed again.

Anonymous 16th. Cent.
(as I recall from English class: a Puritan woman wrote it)

...

Neither of those poems actually have to do with my planned topic.

Are written words powerful to you? If you receive a text from a lover either online or via cell phone... do you "feel" it? If your partner is sharing the image of biting your neck, or sucking nipples, or blowing in your ear... do they feel like empty words that you just play along with to humor him/her? Or do you actually "feel" it?

For myself... I don't feel everybody. Some guys have thought they were hot stuff and tried the sex chat thing ... but if I'm emotionally tied to a person, and especially if we're real life lovers (or have been in the past)... I feel the words. So much that my nerves tingle, my skin quivers... I feel the spirit of the touch.

I had a horrifying image in my head earlier... what if I felt it and others are just playing along but don't feel a thing? Of course most people, at least guys, literally "play along"... I'm not comfortable playing while sitting at a computer. So for me it's 100% in my head. But the feelings are so intense I store them away for playing later. Still: I feel the words, and the connection with the other person.

Of course... written words are not what I'm really wanting lol.

True but I guess men are more physical than mental but I like both, wink

For me I love to see/hear a woman orgasm as it shows there true self as that time is treasured and you need both to help it along
