Watching the blogs

Blog watching - is it a sport, entertainment, learning or just a plain old addiction? Many times I think it is just catching up on new friends. I just realized I had 33 on my watched blogs list. I will also visit others from links and post titles and occasionally stop in on the "most watched "
If someone appears to have dropped out of site I will give a few weeks for them to re appear, and then depending on whom it is delete them or not from the watch list. Some announce goodbyes and others just get up in life I guess.Or have conquered their addiction.
The demographics are 25 F, 5 M and 3 C on the watched list. Makes me wonder if there is a breakdown somewhere by sex of who blogs, since the men supposedly outnumber the women by 10 to 1, if not more.
So question time
1. How many on your watched blog list?
2. What is the breakdown by M/F/C ?
3. How much time do you spend weekly on yours? On others?
4. Why do you think there ar so few men - especially given that is a great way to become noticed if they are looking to meet women?
5. How long would you keep a missing blogger around?
6. What is the biggest difference you notice in general of the writings of M versus F?

1. 13
2. 4 M, 2 C, 7 F
3. Hmmm, way too much
4. Don't know. Maybe they are all in the magazine or advice lines or chat?
5. Depends on the blogger - if really good, forever, cause I can go back, read, mine for ideas, or just enjoy the way they write.
6. In general, it seems women know how to write erotica - the men don't. There are a few men that do know how to write it, but they are few.

Stormy, if you click on either watch post ( for individual posts) or watch blog - both at the top right of each blog/post, then go to the top far right where all the headings are * home, my account, chat. hotlist etc - the last one is blogs - and any that you have marked as watch will show as your own list.
I do agree that most guys don't get it - and don't realize what an opportunity they are missing. Yes men are much more blunt, and yet I think the funniest writing I see is also done by the men.

The women definitley know how to write better erotica ( though you have had some very good writings too)
So who are your favorite women that you read for erotica?

Makes mental note to be careful of the fluffy crap. I always like you visiting, even when I do get fluffy.

Do you think the men are afraid to reveal too much even when somewhat anomynous? Is is a trait of how we are raised? You have more M than F that you watch - what are the main reasons for that - funnier than women? Because they are not as personal for the most part ( and I know that some you visit are)
Do you think if men did blogs - and did them much better than the e mails they send - would they stand a better chance of hooking up?
If you were not spending as much time blogging on others - how would you spend that time?
Are you glad you did the post about asking questions - lol.

1.No I don't think men are afraid to reveal , I think they just are not that way in general. Having grown up with all boys I know that when men are together they still do not talk as personal as females do. I think that men are just not as into talking about emotions as females are.
2.I am female ...hello... its all about the pictures!!!!
3.Let me say that every man blogging is better at blogging than most of the emails I have ever gotton !!!So yes if a man logs it reveals more of him than any email could.
4. Lower my purity score !!!!! Getting all the things done everyday that people ask me to help with. Spending time people watching. Spending more time with the parents. Spending more time with my friends. Spending more time running around town seeing all the things that I never have time for. Reading more books. Learning more about the world. Finding new ways of making money so I don't ever have to have a job again.
5. You are such a freak. I love that post. I LIVE to ask questions. I WANT to know more about these people. I want to know them not just the glimpses -- word or not? -- that some posts give. I can't imagine not asking questions.

1. How many on your watched blog list? 37
2. What is the breakdown by M/F/C ? 29F, 6M, 2C
3. How much time do you spend weekly on yours? On others? Gosh I spend 2 hours a day reading, and about an hour writing.
4. Why do you think there ar so few men - especially given that is a great way to become noticed if they are looking to meet women? They think e-mail is the way to go Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.
5. How long would you keep a missing blogger around? Two Weeks
6. What is the biggest difference you notice in general of the writings of M versus F? Men write about intellectual concepts. Women write about their feelings towards things or people. But, there are exceptions to each of these, I have seen men write about their feelings and women write about intellectual concepts.B]
