Sorry...I tried... I saw a posting several weeks ago...asking who would be alone during the holidays ...I responded. I was asked to participate in something to spread a little bit of "good cheer"..."smiles"...and "well wishes" to others. I agreed as I knew I would be alone and given that I sleep less than anyone I know of...I thought what better way to extend my hand to others in the spirit of the season. It has been so very hard for me, to get into the spirit this year...more so than years past. I tried...I tried real hard to be ok and be in the :spirit " of things...but couldn't. Then the response came for me to be a part of something fun and nice...I thought. I did not do it to gain popularity...notr to "" myself for comments...nor to others...I just wanted to make others smile and maybe have a little laugh. I meant well and meant no disrespect to others in any way....I know how hard this time of year is for me and for so many others. If I was a little more able or capable..I would have made my own personal verse or message of well wishes..but I had not. I read each and every blog that I posted to..and I tried really hard to post the carol to a blog posting that was not dealing with something bad or sad. I tried to add a comment along with my posting. I tried to make someone smile that maybe was feeling as I was/ am and let them know that someone cared enough to stop by on the holidays. I tried. I apologize to all that felt it innappropriate and demeaning and disrespectful to their blogs. I am sorry and meant no harm and did not realize that my intentions,would be seen in any other way than in in goodness and care for others. I am saying here and now to all those that wish to...please delete the carol from your blog...I cannot do it from my end and I would if I could. I may delete the post on my blog as soon as I respond to all those that came by and left a comment of thanks. Thank you to those that felt my genuine feelings behind this lil endeavor. I am glad I made you smile. Again I do apologize...for trying to be with others in some form this holiday...I will know better than to try to do this again... Sincerely, Shy |

Hi Shy, I'm sorry one or two people ruined the return of good spirit I know this was done in. Please don't let them get away with it. If someone has been insulted or whatever by something this innocent, they're on the WRONG site, and I'll be happy to tell them so. Everyone here knows how you are, and that you wouldn't hurt a fly. OOOOOOOOK, I just looked through your 78 comments for the caroling, and they're ALL wonderful. "you made my day" "Thank you so much", just on and on. Whoever complained about this can KISS MY ASS ! Jesus, you brightened 80 lives, all by your own work. Be proud and don't you DARE delete a damn word. Time to stand up for the nice people and let the assholes go ELSEWHERE ! Bronzehalo 2007

Shy, no offence was taken by me for any of the carols I got, I thought they were great fun! But I know what it's like to do something out of fun and trying to spread a little happiness, only to find people up in arms and outraged. My sympathies, and I hope that you continue to spread goodwill and happiness, despite this. AND THE WINNER IS ~~~~ [post 2692868]

Shy, I wouldn't change a thing on your blog. If they want to remove things from their blog, then that is their choice. I think it was a beautiful idea, though and I just wish you lived closer, so that we could all get together in "real time" during the holidays. My "little whisper" might have enjoyed it, too. Hey Shy Your comments were genuine... and some people are just weird. Even those weird enough to have been offended should be able to understand that people wanting to express their happy holiday wishes to a broad number of others are going to do it with a repetitive message - you even joined up with others to share the thought. I don't get why it would be offensive - but some people have to be contrary to make themselves feel more important I suppose. I thank you for the smile and hope you had a Merry Christmas. ~hugs~

I thought it was a very nice gesture on your part. There's no way that anyone could find it offensive. I thougth it was very nice indeed. Shy.. Please don't apologize or feel like you've somehow done something wrong..when spreading a little cheer and good feelings is wrong, then we need to just turn out the lights and declare the party over..I loved the carols that you and the other carolers left, on my blog, and on the others that I visit...it was fun to see what was going to be there.. While I wouldn't expect you to call out the complainers, I wish you would..it sounds like I'm not the only one who would like to pay them a little visit..  ..I'm with Bronze on this one..Enjoy the pleasure of spreading some cheer and doing something that was fun..

I liked the Carols. Do it again next year. Yes there are going to be a couple of people thinking otherwise. Tough. If 100 people received them and 90 were not in favor. For the ninty it is a ho hum or ignore. The ten liked it, needed it. Still worth it. The actual figures are more likely to be ninty positives and nine neutral and one Scrooge. Let Scrooge do his own deletions, you turn a deaf ear to his poop. Dean
